Warren Wertheimer describes himself as a father of two, grandfather
of four, longtime student of A Course In Miracles,
motivational speaker,
and business and life coach, former Harvard Lawyer (an editor of the Law
Review), former successful businessman, psychic, firewalker and
millionaire.
Born in Brooklyn, New York on December 6, 1933, he
received an A.B. Degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in
1956, an LL.B from Harvard Law School in 1959, and an LL.M in Taxation
from New York University in 1960. He practiced Tax and Business Law in
San Francisco for fourteen years.
Following a life changing experience in 1972, he
decided to leave the practice of law and in 1974 acquired a family
multi-sport club in Novato, California which he operated for more than
27 years. From an original membership of 400 and gross annual revenue of
$55,000, the club grew to in excess of 6500 members with gross revenue
in excess of $4,000,000. The club developed a national reputation for
being innovative, and unique in the way it did business, and was
described as one of the top 15 clubs in the country by Shape Magazine.
In January of 2002, he sold the club for more than 250 times his
original investment.
Warren recently published a
book called
Outrageous
Ideas That Work In Business in which he describes a model of doing
business which is fun, easy, stress free, and very profitable. He
travels the country sharing these ideas, which in significant part are
based on A Course In Miracles, which he states have resulted in his
never being happier or more peaceful in his life. He is available for
motivational speaking as well as
coaching and
consulting.
